European Conference League semifinal match between AS Roma vs Leicester

 Ahead of the European Conference League semifinal match between AS Roma versus Leicester, tickets were sold out in less than 24 hours. This is known from one of the major media in Italy, Football Italia which stated that more than 50,000 AS Roma fans had queued online to buy tickets for the first and second leg of the European Conference League semifinal against Leicester City. In fact, ticket sales for spectators between AS Roma and Leicester City only started this morning (Italy time) and the response from the Giallorossi fans has been impressive. 

In fact, according to some reports in Italy, more than 50,000 fans are willing to queue online to buy tickets in a general sale that will start at 2pm UK time. As AS Roma's official account, Official AS Roma points out, there will be around 5,000 tickets available for general sale if 90 percent of season ticket holders buy two tickets each. Despite some negative results of AS Roma under Jose Mourinho this season, Giallorossi fans have always supported the coach and team this season. Fantastically, AS Roma fans have the second highest average attendance in Serie A with 39,413 fans per game. 

Slightly different from the Italian giants, AC Milan, who was in first place with the highest 40,673 attendances. However, AS Roma fans can sell most of the match tickets to season ticket holders who can buy three tickets each. It was previously known that AS Roma will meet the Foxes, nicknamed Leicester City, in England next week. The second leg will be played on May 5 in Rome. 

The meeting between AS Roma and Leicester was because they both managed to win the quarter-final match in the Europa Conference League a few days ago. Leicester City thanks to a 2-1 aggregate win over PSV, although previously it only ended in a 0-0 draw. Meanwhile, AS Roma succeeded in crushing Bodo Glimt with a 5-2 aggregate from the previous 2-1 loss in the first leg.
