Bernd Leno reportedly not interested in a move to Newcastle United

Since Arsenal signed Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United last summer, Bernd Leno has officially lost his status as Arsenal's number one goalkeeper. The German goalkeeper has only made four appearances in the Premier League this season and suddenly his future at the Emirates Stadium has become a matter of speculation.

Moreover, the former Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper whose contract will expire next year and inevitably the Gunners have to sell him in the near future rather than losing Leno for free. Newcastle United are said to be interested in using the services of the 30-year-old goalkeeper for next season. However, the Daily Star claims that Leno has absolutely no interest in moving to St. James Park.

The goalkeeper is reportedly waiting for offers from a number of Bundesliga clubs to return to being close to his family in Germany. Leno has been living in North London for the last six years after the Gunners signed him from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2016.

Since then he has made 125 appearances in all competitions with a record 37 clean sheets. When referring to the player site Transfermarkt, Leno's current selling price is estimated at 10 million Euros.
