Francesco Bagnaia

As is well known, there was an accident at the Qatar 2022 MotoGP at Turn 11. Francesco Bagnaia at that time collided with Pramac Racing's Jorge Martin, until both of them were forced to finish the race early. Bagnaia then apologized to Martin for being the cause of the accident. "I am very sorry for my mistake involving Jorge Martin. I apologize to Jorge Martin, Pramac Racing and also Ducati Lenovo," said Bagnaia via his personal Instagram account.

At that time, Francesco Bagnaia lost traction on the front tire of his motorbike. This caused him to fall and hit Jorge Martin. As a result, both were forced to pull over and failed to finish in the Qatar MotoGP. However, the 25-year-old racer admitted that he couldn't wait to get back on the road in the next race. Bagnaia promised to be more vigilant so that similar incidents do not happen again.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back on track soon," he explained. Bagnaia later admitted that the results of the Qatar MotoGP race were far from his expectations. The man who is familiarly called Pecco is also ready to open a new chapter at the Mandalika Circuit for the Indonesian MotoGP. "This is not the start we hoped for. We fought before the race started." “We are very ready to work in Mandalika. I don't have the slightest doubt about the potential in our team," concluded Bagnaia.
