 The Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Tourism Office, Yusron Hadi, recorded the availability of hotel rooms ahead of the arrival of the Mandalika MotoGP tourists. The motorcycle race will take place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit on March 18-20, 2022. Data from the NTB Tourism Office shows there are as many as 23,889 rooms there. 

However, about 75 percent of the rooms are ready to be occupied or 17,833 units. The details are 7,816 rooms in star and non-star hotels, 1,659 units in jasmine hotels, 1,025 villas, 1,030 bungalows, 3,060 homestays, 245 flats, 2,600 camping ground, and 398 tourist accommodation facilities or sarhunta. "As many as 25 percent of the room units are not ready to operate because they need repairs," said Yusron Hadi on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Regarding the distribution of the inn, he explained, the most star hotels and non-star hotels are in Mataram, Senggigi, Mandalika, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, Gili Air, Pemenang, and Sembalun. Meanwhile homestays are spread out in Mandalika, Senggigi, Lingsar-Suranadi, Tete Batu, and around Gili Tramena to Sembalun.

Of the 17,833 rooms that are ready to receive guests, 55 percent of them or 9,855 rooms have been booked. "The highest occupancy rate is in Mandalika and its surroundings," he said. Regarding the 7,978 rooms that have not been filled, Yusron said, there are star hotel rooms in Gili Tramena, Pemenang to Senaru, Mataram, Sembalun, Jerowaru, Tete Batu, Lingsar Suranadi, Sekotong, and Senggigi. While the homestays that are still available are scattered in Mandalika, Lingsar - Suranadi, Sembalun, Tete Batu, and Senaru. Accommodation in the form of villas is in Gili Tramena, Sembalun, Jerowaru, Tete Batu, to Labuhan Haji. For tourists staying at budget hotels, they are still available in Mataram, Senggigi, Gili Tramena, Sekotong, Sembalun, Batukliang, and Kopang.
